Our History &
Industry Experience

In 1965 my parents came down to London from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire to buy a shop that the owner said he wanted to retire from. I was then 4 years old.

When my father decided he wanted to retire in 1987, I bought the shop from him. I was then 25. Over the years I have taken various certificated exams and Licences in the Pet trade and built a business of multiple shops and online ecommerce website.

My now 40 years of experience in the Pet trade has seen many changes and probably the most significant one is the improvement of dog food.

Today we have our own brand for UK Pets Company, produced by a company in Wales, the latest process called COLD PRESSED dog food.

Billy & Myrtle
Inspiration for the Brand

Myrtle is our beautiful girl, Boxer crossed breed, and at 14 is doing well having been on various diets in her life and has now been eating our cold pressed food for the past 5 years.

Billy is our younger Border Terrier now 3.5years old. We found Billy 3 years ago on the side of a busy road just outside our local refuse centre. Other cars were trying to avoid running him over when my wife and I pulled over to rescue him. He has bonded with Myrtle, probably thinking of her as a mother figure.

Cold Pressed Process

The cold pressed dog food is great for all ages as it is gently cold pressed for easy digestion and retaining the goodness for a balanced diet.

Billy and Myrtle both enjoy the Turkey Gastro cold pressed food of which we put a couple of table spoons of water with it and sprinkle the Toppers of difference meat types.

Passion & Knowledge
The Driving Force

My wife Carol manages the Richmond store and on different days Billy and Myrtle join her in the shop to meet the customers and play with their friends on the Richmond green.

We are passionate about our business and our beautiful dogs and when you come to the Richmond shop and meet us we will share our knowledge about the best dog food you can get for all your pets as we do for ours.
